Dressmaking Techniques by Teesh-1/2
3-day class: Wednesday, Sept.19 & 26
10:30am-4:30pm.
Optional Day 3: Tues,Oct.2 10:0-4:30 p.m.
Day 1 and 2 class + kit fee is $75+$25=$100
Kit includes detailed handouts and precut materials for two dresses.
Doll size dress with unlined bodice is edge finished with double fold bias tape and has a rectangular skirt.
The 12 month size dress has a lined bodice with tab and ties and a ruffled skirt.
Day 3 class is optional and class fee is $30.
There is no kit fee as students will come to class with their own notions and fabric(bodice) cut to desired size.
The Good Deeds Dress pattern is available as a free PDF download from Elysium Designs. Pattern may be downloaded from Craftsy.com. Please note this pattern is geared towards charitable sewing and as such Elysium Designs ask that garments made with this pattern not be sold for profit.
We will be sharing one each of our Coverlock Stitch,
Imagine and sewing machines.
Let us know if you prefer to bring your own machine
(but space is limited).
Teesh will lead you and make you feel comfortable
serging, learn narrow right cover stitch, Overlock
Narrow and more.
