Hemmingway Pouch

The Hemingway Pouch is a quilted pouch with a unique, diagonal zipper. The four size options included can store and protect your favorite items: eyeglasses, writing utensils, e-reader/Kindle, books, Tablet/iPad, iPad Pro, small laptop, and paper notebook.

Christmas Tree - Paper Piecing with Judith (2 sessions)

Join Judith in making a paper pieced Christmas Tree to hang on your door or your wall. You can decorate it with buttons or charms to make it festive.

Social Sew Day

Need a place to sew, free from your everyday distractions? Want to schedule a sew date with a friend? You bring the project, we provide the table, cutting mat & iron. While staff will be on hand to help & advise, Social Sew Day is not designed as instructional time and you should be comfortable working unassisted. Please pay in advance to reserve your spot. Space is limited to 5 people.
SERGE & SEW CLASS RULES

NOTE: You are not registered in any class until registration fees have been paid.
All classes can be registered and paid for by phone at 250-390-3602 or in person at the shop.
Registration Policies
Payment of the registration fee is required to guarantee your place in any class. Classes are filled on a “first paid, first in” basis.
A minimum of 3 to 4 participants is required for any class to proceed. If the minimum is not met, the class may be rescheduled or cancelled. Registration fees can be applied to a future date, or a refund/store credit will be provided.
Registration fees are non-refundable if the participant cancels within 7 days of the scheduled class.
If a class is cancelled by Serge & Sew for any reason, a refund or store credit will be provided.
Space is limited, and early registration is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Most classes are hands-on and require you to bring a sewing machine in good working order, along with basic sewing tools. Bringing your sewing machine manual and accessories is also recommended.
A list of required supplies and materials will be provided at the time of registration. These are an additional cost, and some pre-class preparation may be required. For multi-day classes, there may be homework between sessions.
Face masks are optional. Public Health no longer requires masks in indoor settings, and wearing one is a personal choice. We kindly ask that everyone respects each other’s preferences.
