ladies for keeping the merchants mall well supplied with beverages &
treats – it was much appreciated.
Did you see the Eleanor Burns Trunk Show or take part in Linda’s Make-It & Take-Its? The classes were very informative & lots of fun. Jacky Williams was the winner of a Quilt in a Day book!
Watch for our CHRISTMAS in JULY mini classes, July 26-30. Christmas fabric SHOULD be arriving in July. We will have more details about the mini classes after the fabrics arrive!
As usual, we continue to open packages of the most fabulous cottons including beautiful wide width Stonehenge backings. Have you seen the lovely large scale prints that are popular right now? We are looking forward to the arrival in July of the awesome new McKenna Ryan prints.
Have you tried the new WonderFil TUTTI (solid colour) & KONFETTI (tone on tone variegated) thread? It is long fibre Egyptian cotton (50wt) & is one of the nicest threads you will ever sew with! And for the Appliqué crowd – we now have Valdani Hand Dyed Silk Thread – it’s almost decadent!
Kits & baby panels are currently very popular – it is nice sometimes to have all the decisions made for you! Perfect for travelers, too!

The BORDER CREEK MYSTERY QUILT series is complete. We will be holding a ‘reveal party’ in August (Date TBA), so bring enough of your quilt so that everyone can enjoy your colour choices! Remember, whenever Bev hosts an event, there will probably be cake! It’s a PARTY after all!
